I’m a software engineer in Chicago, and I’ve worked at startups shaping products and building the systems behind them.

I’m currently working on the software that powers a new generation of sleep apnea therapy at Rhythm -- from the firmware in the bedside device to the services in the cloud.  Our therapy is designed to deliver more restful sleep by addressing subtle breathing disturbances conventional machines can miss, and more comfortable treatment by using pressure more sparingly.  We’re barreling toward our FDA 510(k) submission and commercialization.

When I’m not at my desk on the couch, I’m usually training for a bike tour, road race, or ski tour.  I’d like to work up to Alaska’s backcountry races, the Wilderness Classic, and ultras like the Tahoe 200 -- and perhaps a triathlon once I’m more efficient in the water.
